We'll begin by discussing your vision for the design. You're welcome to share references, inspiration, mood boards, or specific ideas to help shape the final piece. While I can work with a wide variety of subjects, I specialize in — and have the most experience with — insectoids, Canidae, Felidae, orchids, carnivorous plants, and lilies.
Before moving on to the final piece, I'll create 3 – 4 preliminary sketches, typically completed within 15–30 minutes, based on your description and/or references. From there, you can select your favorite concept, request revisions, or explore an entirely new direction before the final design begins.
* Please Note: My specialty is lineart and charcoal-based artwork. While I can incorporate color upon request, it's not my primary area of expertise, so I cannot guarantee the same level of quality as my linework. Because coloring requires more time and rendering, adding color will increase the commission price.
What Does the Commission Process Look Like?
Typical Price Range: $2 - $20+
Pricing varies on the design's complexity, level of creativity/effort, level of detail, choice of art-style, revisions, and the time required to create your piece.
Creation of final piece can be anywhere from 1 - 4 days unless date/time has been specified.
